12-31-07 Humanitarian Bowl - Game Day Reminders

12-31-07 Humanitarian Bowl - Game Day Reminders

Boise, Dec. 31, 2007 - Boise's Big Bowl game comes to Bronco Stadium today and Boise Police want to remind citizens to enjoy the game safely!

Neighbors around Bronco Stadium enjoy cheering on their favorite teams, but ask that fans coming to the stadium to enjoy the game in person also be good neighbors. Fans are reminded not to park blocking sidewalks, driveways, within 20 feet of crosswalks, 15 feet of fire hydrants, or  within 30 feet of a stop sign. Vehicles parked posing a safety hazard risk being towed.

Boise Police also want to remind citizens to celebrate responsibly. It is a violation of city code to have open containers of alcohol on public streets and sidewalks, and within 250 feet of the greenbelt. This includes private parking lots open to the public (private parking lots with catering permits are the exception).

The goal is to keep the neighborhoods around the BSU campus community clean and safe.

    Enjoy the bowl game!
