12-13-07 Drug Bust

Boise, Dec. 13, 2007 - Boise Police arrested two people Wednesday for a variety of drug charges after an investigation that began, in part thanks to tips from neighbors.

Arrested: Andrew T. Johnson, 40, Boise

Charged: Possession with Intent to Deliver (F), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Arrested: Krystal L. White, 28, Boise

Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance (F).

What Happened: Wednesday afternoon officers served a search warrant at a home shared by the suspects on the 6900 blk of Petrie Street (northeast of Cole & Fairview). The warrant was the result of an investigation by the Boise Police team of Neighborhood Contact Officers. Officers were led to the house, in part thanks to information provided by neighbors who observed, what they suspected was suspicious activity at the home.

As a result of this investigation, officers have evidence they believe shows meth was being bought, sold and used at the home.
