12-07-07 Overnight Strong Arm Robbery

Boise, Dec 6 2007 - Boise Police are searching for two males who robbed a convenience store on Broadway at Howe Rd last night at approx. 10:00 pm.

A customer told the store clerks he saw two suspicious-looking males standing behind the store with bandanas around their necks. The customer then left, and one of the clerks got on the phone with police

dispatch. As they were talking to the dispatchers, the two males entered with the bandanas now around their faces. They threatened the clerks with large sticks, telling them to hand over cash from the register.

One of the suspects eluded to having a handgun, but none was seen. The suspects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash less than one minute before officers arrived.

The suspects are described by witnesses as follows:

1. Dark skinned male (possibly hispanic) in his early 20s, 5'10, 165lbs, wearing a dark Hoody/

dark colored Bandana/dark pants.

2. White male, early 20s, 5'10", 140lbs, wearing a light colored Bandana/dark beanie/white t-shirt w/dark

sweatshirt underneath/dark pants.


An extensive area search by Officers on scene has not turned up the suspects so far.
