10-31-07 Shooting Investigation- Charges Filed

    Boise, Oct. 31, 2007 - 4:15 a.m. - Boise Police have arrested a 21 year old Boise man and charged him in connection with a shooting last night that killed an 18 year old.

    Arrested: Ernest J. Sullivan, 21, Boise

    Charged: Involuntary Manslaughter

    Sullivan is accused of handling a firearm when it discharged striking the victim. Early this morning, the victim, a young woman, died of her wounds. The victims name will be released by the Ada County Coroner following notification of family.


Original Release:

    Boise, Oct. 30, 2007 - Boise Police are investigating a shooting that occurred this evening inside a home on the 5200 blk. of Morris Hill. Officers responded to the emergency call at 7:26 p.m. When they arrived at the home, officers found an 18 year old Boise woman suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where she remains tonight.

    Currently officers are still investigating the scene, trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Several people were in the home at the time and are currently being questioned by Boise Police detectives.

    Further information will be released by Boise Police as it becomes available.
