10-05-07 Vandalism Suspect In Custody

Boise October 5th 2007, Boise Police have taken a Juvenile suspect into custody in connection with several overnight vandalism's. Early this morning at approximately 3:40 AM ,officers observed a Juvenile male on the 500 block of North Orchard in Boise. The boy appeared to hide from the officer in a nearby parking lot. The suspect was approached by officers who found the male in possession of tobacco, and a BB gun along with numerous packs of BB's.

A short time later officers determined that at least 6 businesses in the immediate area had windows shot out by a BB gun or similar implement. 

The Juvenile suspect faces charges of Malicious Injury to Property a felony, Minor in possession of tobacco a misdemeanor, and a misdemeanor curfew violation charge. Because the suspect is a juvenile no further suspect information is available at this time.
