Graffiti Arrests

Boise Sept. 4th 2007, Two juveniles and one adult are in custody for a string of vandalism that took place around Boise State University last night. At approximately 8:22 PM on September 3rd Boise Police Officers where dispatched to the area of University and Brady on a graffiti in progress call. Officers located 3 suspects in a vehicle traveling in the area who matched the descriptions given by citizens. 

    In the suspect vehicle officers recovered 15 to 20 cans of spray paint. The graffiti located on some street signs, a building and a rental truck are estimated at roughly $3,000 dollars. All three individuals involved in the incident face felony charges of Malicious Injury to Property based on the amount and cost of the damages.

    Boise Police would like to thank the citizens who saw this suspicious activity and provided officers with good descriptions of the suspects. It is this type of cooperation which helps make our community a better and safer place to live.

Arrested:Gabriel E Perez, 20 years of age, Boise

Charges: Malicious Injury to Property - Felony, Driving Without Privaledges-Misdemeanor
