09-03-07 Shooting Overnight - 3 Hospitalized

    Boise, Sept. 3, 2007 - Boise Police are searching for a man who shot 3 people overnight in what detectives say appears to be an unprovoked attack.

    Officers responded to reports of shots fired at a home on the 1200 blk. of Security Ln. at approx. 2:10 this morning. When they arrived, witnesses said the suspect had walked up to a home and began talking with three men standing outside. Witnesses say those at the home were friendly and talked with the man for a short time. The suspect left and returned a short time later wearing a dark bandana as a mask and carrying a handgun. He shot the three victims, then ran off.

    men in their 20's,  were transported to the hospital. At this time it does not appear the injuries are life-threatening, but injuries to two of the victims appear to be serious.

    Witnesses say they suspect is a hispanic male, approx. 5' 8" tall, 160 lbs in his early 20's with a goatee. He was wearing blue jean shorts, a white polo shirt with brown stripes, and white shoes.

    Officers are following leads to locate the suspect and continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
