Body Recovered From Boise River

Body Recovered From Boise River

Boise August 19th 2007, Boise Police recovered the body of an adult male from the boise river today. At approximately 12:00 noon a group of Kayaker's using the river saw what they believed to be a body in the river near 43rd street. The kayaker's contacted Boise Police who, with the help of the Boise Fire Department removed the body of an adult male from some debris in the river. 

At this time the identity of the deceased victim is not known. The individual was found fully clothed in the river and may be in his mid 40's.

Detectives are working to identify the man and determine the circumstances surrounding his death. At this time detectives to not have reason to suspect foul play, however, the investigation will continue until the exact nature of what happened can be determined. No further information is available for release at this time.
