New Charges in Fraud Investigation

Boise April 13th 2007, Boise Police Detectives have concluded the investigation into a fraud ring resulting in 8 felony counts against two suspects.

       Detectives who have been working this case since early March of this year determined that two men have been making orders and picking up merchandise at area electrical wholesalers. The men had represented themselves as customers affiliated with local electrical businesses to obtain goods that where charged to those businesses. Those businesses would not receive billing for those goods until some time later. This criminal activity took place at 4 local electrical wholesale companies on 4 separate occasions. The value of the merchandise is estimated at more than 5 thousand dollars.  Both suspects were taken into custody on April 11th and now face these charges in addition to the initial arrest charges.

Arrested: Michael Allan Hollenbeck, 51, Boise

Charged: 3 counts of attempted burglary and 3 count of grand theft (previous burglary charges included)

Arrested: Leandro Tullos Lopez, 38,

Charged: 1 count of attempted burglary and 1 count of grand theft
