Bank Robbery

      Boise, April 20, 2007, 6:20 p.m - Boise Police are searching for a man and possibly a woman connected to a bank robbery that occurred in Boise late this afternoon.

Officers were called to the Zions Bank at Cole & Fairview at approx. 4:30 p.m.. Witnesses say a man walked into the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A bank customer in the parking lot the bank saw the man get into a car. The citizen called 9-1-1 and gave the suspect vehicle description to police. Despite an intensive and immediate search by officers patrolling the area, neither the suspect or the vehicle has been located at this time. The citizen said he saw a blond woman passenger inside the car when the robbery suspect got in. They were last seen driving westbound on Fairview.

Suspect Vehicle description: older smaller Honda, likely a 90's model Honda Civic, silver, Ada County license plates.

Suspect Description: white male, 40 - 50 years old, approx 6', 180 lbs, with sandy blond hair over his ears and a mustache, wearing a green and black flannel shirt and blue jeans.

     Anyone with immediate information on the suspect, the vehicle or the crime is urged to call 9-1-1 or CrimeStoppers at 343-COPS.
