Guns & Hoses Hockey Event

UPDATE: Boise Police Department won the game with a final score of 3 - 0. The charity event raised about $6,000.000 to help Mothers against drunk driving and the Muscular Distrophy. Thank you for helping make this a memorable event!


Original News Release:

Saturday the 24th, at 4:00pm you are invited to attend as Boise Police Officers and Boise Fire Fighters will square off in a hockey game to benefit charity.

The Boise Police Chief and the Boise Fire Chief will drop the ceremonial puck to kick off the event. The Honor Guard and the Boise Police Pipes and Drums will perform before the game. The hockey game has become a local tradition and a fun rivalry for Boise Police and Firefighters. The public is invited to attend the game and take a look at fire apparatus which will also be on display. Guns & Hoses T-Shirts will also be sold at the event. A portion of the proceeds from donations, ticket sales, and T-Shirt sales go to benefit MADD (mothers against drunk driving) and the MDA (Muscular Distrophy Association)

Where:  Quest Arena, just prior to the Steelheads game against the Alaska Aces!

When:  The puck drops at 4:00 PM so a bit early wouldn't hurt

Tickets:  Guns & Hoses game only - donations accepted at the door; for both Guns & Hoses and the Steelheads game, $15 - $20 depending on the seats.
