Federal Way Bank Robbery

 Boise, March. 7, 2007 – Boise Police are searching for a man who robbed a Federal Way bank this morning at approximately 10:50 am.

Witnesses tell officers a man walked into the Washington Mutual Bank at 6490 South Federal Way and displayed a handgun, demanding money from a teller. He was last seen leaving the parking lot in a light blue or grey four door passenger car southbound.

Witnesses describe the robber as a white male in his 40s with collar length dark hair. He was around 5 feet 10 inches in height, weighing around 180 lbs. He was wearing a blue ballcap with a black bill and a blue and black plaid shirt. He appeared to have a black undershirt or t-shirt. He was wearing faded blue jeans with large square sunglasses. He had on nylon and leather style brown hiking shoes.

An area search by officers arriving on scene so far has not turned up the suspect.
