Bank Robbery - Vista Ave.

      Boise, Feb. 5, 2007 –  Boise Police are searching for a man who robbed a Vista Ave. bank this afternoon at approx. 2:13 p.m.

     Witnesses tell officers a man walked into the US Bank at 1103 Vista Ave. and demanded money from a teller. He was last seen leaving the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

     Witnesses describe the robber as taller than 6', average build, with a darker complexion, with long dark curly ringlet hair that could possibly be a wig, a dark grey beenie cap, light colored pull over collared long sleeve shirt and white tennis shoes. The man appeared to be in his late 20's or early 30's. Witnesses also say the suspect had a prominent nose.

    An area search by officers arriving on scene so far has not turned up the suspect.
