Stolen Car, Motorcycle, Trailer

Stolen Car, Motorcycle, Trailer

Boise, Jan. 12, 2007 -  Boise Police are investigating three thefts that occurred overnight Wednesday. It's unclear if the thefts are related, but the items taken are similar, and detectives are asking the public for any information in locating the suspects and the stolen items.

The first item reported stolen overnight Wednesday is a silver and black 2006 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle with Utah license plates. The motorcycle was reported stolen from the 800 blk of Sherwood.

The second item reported stolen is a 1940 Mercury Convertible, light blue with no license plates. The vehicle was taken from a garage on the 1900 blk of Euclid. The vehicle was being restored by the owner and was not in running condition. Detectives believe the car was pushed out of the garage onto a trailer and taken by the suspect. The owner of this vehicle, an elderly Boise gentleman, has owned this car for at least 30 years and it was his hobby and pride to restore the car.

The third item reported stolen is a tow dolly from the U-Haul lot on the 1100 blk of Orchard.

Again, it's not certain the same suspects are behind all three thefts, but detectives believe it's possible the crimes are related. Anyone with information on the stolen items and/or suspects is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
