Funny Bone Benefit

Funny Bone Benefit

Tickets are for sale for the benefit show Monday, January 29th. Tickets are $20 each or a table of four for $100. All proceeds will benefit the family of Idaho State Police Trooper Chris Glenn who was shot by an armed robbery suspect in Twin Falls Dec. 20th. Trooper Glenn remains in a Boise hospital with life changing injuries. To buy tickets, call Jermaine Galloway at 484-2746.

Three comedians and the Funny Bone Comedy Club are donating their time for the benefit. The featured comedians include Tom Simmons who has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central and Serious Satellite radio, and Billy D. Washington, a former law enforcement officer turned comedian who has also appeared on the HBO comedy series. Both nationally known performers changed their schedules so they could be in Boise for the benefit. Several local businesses have also made donations for a silent auction, raffle and door prizes.

Organizers hope to show their support for Glenn and his family by helping to pay for immediate needs and medical costs.
