Detectives Investigate Shooting

Boise, Nov. 5, 2006, 11:00 a.m. - Boise Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in a Bench neighborhood early this morning.

Officers responded to the call of a shot fired at a home on the 6000 blk of Elkhorn, near Curtis and Overland, at 6:26 a.m. When officers arrived they learned there had been a verbal argument between two men that turned physical, and at least one shot was fired. A 34 year old man was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed and detectives are still investigating the incident. At this point, detectives are not able to release what led to the shooting and no further details are available at this time.
