Boise, October 14, 2006 – Boise Police officers are investigating an overnight vandalism that occurred on the Boise bench.

Approximately 1:45 a.m., dispatch received several phone calls from residents about large rocks being thrown through the front windows of their homes. Fourteen victims had called dispatch after being awakened from the noise of breaking glass.

Officers converged on the area West of Cole Road and North of Ustick Road. Officers were able to determine the area the suspects were traveling, due to the calls that the 911 dispatch center received. Several officers were able to establish a perimeter and at one point an officer could hear the sound of breaking glass.
