Armed Robbery - Cash Store

Boise, Sept. 28, 2006, 12;15 p.m. - Boise Police are searching for a man who robbed a Cash Store on Overland this morning.

The call was received at approx. 10:21 a.m. to the store at 8170 Overland. According to witnesses, a man was seen sitting in a car outside the store for about 15 minutes. He then walked inside, pulled a knife and demanded money from the clerk. No one was hurt. He was last seen driving east bound on Overland. Officers have a description of the suspect and the car and are trying to find them.

Witnesses tell officers the robbery suspect is a man about 5' 5", 150 pounds, slender with a slight build. He wore a light brown wool cap with a bill, wool gloves, a zip-up grey hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, jeans and tennis shoes. Of note, he wore what witnesses describe as a halloween mask over the lower portion of his face that had buck teeth pointed in odd directions and a tongue hanging out.

The suspect vehicle is described as a beat up older blue sedan, Idaho plates, with the front license plate hanging down on one side.
