Saturday Bank Robbery

Boise, June 17, 2006, 3:25 p.m. – Boise Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Bank of America at Fairview and Mitchell at approximately 12:24 p.m.

Witnesses tell detectives a man entered the bank armed with a small handgun and demaned money from the tellers. He was described as being approximately 5'9", 170 lbs., approximately 35-40 years old. He was wearing a red plaid shirt or shirt jacket, blue jeans, wearing a hood with eye holes cut into the fabric.

Other witnesses saw the suspect as he was fleeing. He was seen without his hood. He had reddish unkempt hair, possibly a goatee, possibly driving a black Jeep Cherokee with gold wheels.
