Missing Boy Found

Boise, June 23, 2006 – The Boise Police Department is thankful for citizens help in locating a 10 year old boy who was missing from his home in the area of Nth 34th street in Boise.

Damion White, 10 years old was discovered missing by his parents this morning. Officers have been involved in an area search since 7:30 am when Damion was reported missing.

The Boise Police Department received several tips from citizens reporting that they had seen the boy. Officers were able to use the information gained from those calls in order to help with the search. One tip lead the officers right to where the boy was located (near Winstead Park).

The boy appeared to be unharmed and was reunited with his parents at around 7:15 p.m.

The Boise Police Department would like to thank all of the citizens who responded to our requests for help in locating the boy. We would also like to thank the media for playing a vital role in getting the information to the public.
