Boise, May 8, 2006 – Boise Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in West Boise overnight.

Officers were called to the convenience store at Cloverdale and Ustick at 9:08 p.m.

Officers found a man there who said he driven to the store after being shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex just behind the store. The victim, a 31 year old man from Nampa, appeared to have injuries to his legs. The victim’s vehicle, a gold Izuzu Rodeo also appeared to have damage caused by gunshots to the drivers side door. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A possible suspect vehicle has been described as a smaller silver sedan, possibly a Ford Escort type make. No further suspect information is available at this time.

Further details surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
