Boise, May 3, 2006 – This week, the Boise Police Motors Unit (motorcycle officers) is joined by departments from around the valley in hosting the 2006 International Training Symposium for members of the North American Motor Officers Association (NAMOA).

Motors officers are some of the best trained motorcycle riders anywhere, and the training course will push their skills to the limits and beyond! Some 200 officers are expected to attend the event from the Western US and Canada.

Citizens who come to watch the actual competition between officers Saturday are urged to bring a food or cash donation for the Idaho Food Bank. Bleachers will be available for public seating.
