Car Store Update

Boise, 4:15 p.m., May 9, 2006 – Boise Police continue to investigate an accident that occurred this afternoon when a Jeep Grand Cherokee drove into a Health Food Store in the shopping complex at Five Mile and Overland.

Victim Updates:

Both victims were women and inside the store when the vehicle crashed into the front window. One victim is an employee at the store. One was a customer. They were standing at the front cash register at the time of the crash. Both are hospitalized with what appeared at the scene to be serious injuries. Hometowns of the victims are not available at this time.

Victim #1 - customer - 75 years old (updates age given earlier) woman.

Victim #2 - store employee - 63 year old woman.
