Bank Robbery

Boise, March 17, 2006 – Boise Police are searching the area near Broadway & Beacon for a man who robbed a Kay Bank. Witnesses say the man had two small handguns, one tucked in his waistband, one he held in his hand. The robber also dropped some dollar bills at the door to the bank as he fled.

Officers received the call at 1:50 p.m. from the Key Bank at 1111 Broadway. Tellers say a man walked into the bank with a gun and demanded money. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount and was last seen headed westbound on foot.

Suspect Description: Preliminary reports say the suspect appears to be a white male with a dark, tan complection, approx. 5' 9" tall, medium build, with a deep voice, blue eyes, mid- 20's. He wore a grey ski cap pulled over his head and face (the mask had eye holes cut out), a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white Nike tennis shoes. He also wore a dark fanny-type pack around his waist.
