Enticement Report

Enticement Report

Boise, January 24, 2006 – Boise Police are investigating a report of a possible enticement that happened Monday afternoon at a school bus stop in the area of Fairview and Cloverdale.

At this time, it is unknown if this report is related in any way to other recent enticement reports, however, officers are sharing information between agencies.

Monday afternoon, two grade-school-age girls tell officers they were standing at the bus stop waiting for a parent to pick them up. They say about 4:00 p.m. a man in a green 4-door sedan stopped his vehicle near where the girls were standing. One student says the man leaned toward her and motioned with his finger for her to come to his vehicle. The girl screamed and both then went to the home of the second girl, where they reported the incident to a parent, who called police.

Officers are praising the girls for doing just what they should; yell loudly, run away and report the incident.

The suspect is described as a man approx. 50 years old, with a thin build and a black or brown beard or goatee. He was driving a green 4-door sedan with a smiley face sticker on the driver’s side rear panel.

Officers are urging anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
