BPD ID Me is a program through the Boise Police Department to obtain tips and information surrounding open investigations in the city.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information you provide helps solve a crime or leads to an arrest.

Do not attempt to apprehend any of these people. Call 911 in an emergency. If you witness a crime in progress or are a victim of a crime, call police immediately. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft Auto

On March 26, officers took a report of a stolen vehicle from an apartment complex parking lot off W. Grand Ave in Boise. Reviewing video from the area, just before 11:00pm on March 25, a male subject was seen entering the parking lot and attempting to enter vehicles. The male is captured on video entering the victim's vehicle and driving out of the lot. The vehicle has since been recovered.

Offense Under Investigation: Petit Theft

On April 2, 2024, officer took a report from an antique retailer in the 4700 block of W. State St. of a male who they had video stealing cast iron skillets on the two days prior. Store employees recognized the man from prior thefts. Video was obtained from the business of the male stealing the items from the store. On one of the dates the male had a school aged female with him.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft

On March 22, 2024, a victim reported their debit card was used at a business in the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. for multiple transactions on March 16 and 17. Upon investigation by officers, the suspect in the case is associated with similar transactions in the area.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft

On March 15 and 16, an unknown male made multiple purchases and withdrawals with the victim's debit card, which was still in their possession. On Mar 17, the victim noticed the charges and reported to police. Video of a male subject using the victim's card to withdraw money at an ATM was obtained.

On March 26, a victim parked their E-bike outside a retailer off N. Cole. Rd in Boise. While inside the location an unknown male took the bike and rode off the property. Video of the male and the incident was captured on cameras at the business.

Offense under investigation: Burglary/ Grand Theft

BPD is looking for individuals who are related to or have knowledge of commercial burglaries, where cases of lottery tickets were stolen from liquor stores. The tickets were later redeemed at various local businesses. These photographs were taken from surveillance cameras when the suspects were cashing in the winners. At least one of the suspects was driving a white 2010-2013 Mazda 3 with a sunroof.

On March 5, officers took a report from a business off N. Milwaukee St. of a female that had stolen merchandise on multiple occasions. Store employees were able to provide images of the female on each trip to the store.

On Feb. 16 a male committed a theft at a business in the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. The male and the truck he was driving was captured on surveillance video.

On Feb. 17, officers took a report of a female going to multiple banks in the area and cashing fraudulent checks using identification that was previously stolen in a vehicle burglary.

On Feb. 20, an unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle in the 900 block of E. McKinley Dr. stealing cash. A suspect was caught on the victim's security cameras.

On Feb. 18, a victim in the 10000 block W. Canterbury Dr. contacted police after catching a theft by an unknown male subject on their security cameras. The subject entered the property, stealing two propane tanks.

On Feb. 13, just after 2:30am, an unknown male took the victim's bike from their front porch. The bike is a gray Cannondale Catalyst 3 mountain bike, serial# YC83120. The theft was capture on the victim's video doorbell.

On February 11, 2024 victims reported have personal items stolen from an address in the 300 block of N. Whitewater Park Blvd. Included in the person items were financial transaction cards and IDs. Working with the victims, officers were able to obtain CCTV images of two subjects taking the belongings of the victims.

On February 17, 2024, just before 9am an unknown subject stolen a package from the front porch of the residence in the 8500 of W. Pembrook Dr. in Boise. The victim was able to provide video from their doorbell camera of a male stealing the package.

On February 11, 2024 an unknown subject attempted to enter properties off W. Bannock St and W. Jefferson St. in Boise. The subject caused damages to the properties including broken windows and a damaged door.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft

A victim reported on January 30, 2024, their wallet was stolen from a restaurant in the 8400 block of W. Franklin Rd. in Boise. The credit cards from the victim's wallet were used to make purchases at retail locations in the area. Officers were able to work with affected businesses to local video of a male and female involved in the theft and purchases.

On February 1, 2024 a business in the 4900 block of W. State St. reported a commercial burglary from the prior day. A male with white hair and a beard with visible arm tattoos took an item from the location without paying. Video of the male at the location was turned over to officers.

Offense Under Investigation: Accident - Leaving the Scene

On January, 20, 2024 officers took a report of a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident in a parking lot off W. State St. A female driving what officers believe is a dark blue BMW SUV backed into the victim's vehicle. The female driving the BMW left the scene of the accident without contacting the other vehicle owner. Video of the driver and her vehicle was obtained from the business.

On the evening of November 20, 2023, Boise Police officers were notified of the theft of a vehicle in the 900 block of S. Vista Ave. While in the business a male and female adult unlawfully took possession of an employee’s car keys and then exited the store and stole her blue Nissan Rogue.

On October 19, 2023, Boise Police officers responded to a robbery on the 3000 block of S. Vista Ave. The adult male suspect entered the business around 8:30 am and demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect left and ran east from the business.

On October 31, 2023, around 12 pm, Boise Police responded to the mall on N. Milwaukee St. for a robbery. Information provided was that an unknown male suspect followed a female outside and approached her as she left the building. The suspect grabbed her purse, and wrestled it away from her, before fleeing into the passenger side of a red sedan with tinted windows. The victim was not physically injured.

Surveillance video from the area shows a person of interest and the vehicle. The suspect is described as a tall, white adult male. The vehicle is described as a red sedan with tinted windows.

Boise Police are investigating a road rage incident on October 23rd around 1:20 p.m. Investigators need to speak to the driver of this light grey/silver GMC Yukon SUV with no plates and dealer paperwork in the window.

On October 23rd just before 10 am, Boise Police responded to a business on the 2000 block of W. State St for a property check. Evidence indicates that just before 3 am, an unknown adult male suspect used a large rock to break the front glass door of the business, entered through that broken door, and stole money from the register.

Boise police are investigating a report of video voyeurism on November 26th and are wanting to speak with this person of interest. The male was last seen driving away in a small black passenger car with a Transformers “Decepticon” painted on the hood of the car and the hood was secured with bungee cords. The vehicle also had a missing front bumper.

Myrtle St. The victim reported as they were exiting the business a male subject unknown to the victim inappropriately touched them. The male rode away on a bicycle. The suspect is described as a while male who was wearing glasses, a beanie, a dark jacket and dark jeans at the time of the incident.

On November 30, officers were called to the report of a grand theft off S. Broadway Ave. in Boise. The victim reported accidentally leaving their credit card on the counter of a business and leaving the store. Upon reviewing video to locate the card, a male was observed taking the victim’s card from the counter and exiting the store. The male drove away from the business in a gray convertible.

On November 22, Boise officers responded to the report of a luggage theft at the Boise Airport. The victim reported his bag was missing but the airline had scanned the bag when it was unloaded from the plane in Boise. Officers were able to review video to observe a black male adult removing the victim's bag from the luggage carousel, meet up with another male wearing a red LA Dodgers hat and exit the airport.

On October 26 at 12 p.m., the victim discovered their bike was missing from where they had left it locked the day prior. Officers were able to review video in the area to find the bike being stolen by the pictured male.

Offense under investigation: Vandalism

Boise Police Officers are investigating a vandalism at Capital High School on W. Goddard Rd that caused thousands of dollars in damage to the softball and football fields. On Friday, September 16th at approximately 11:15 PM, two vehicles entered the Capital High School parking lot and drove recklessly through the fields. Capital High School says the football field is unplayable and their practices and games will have to be rescheduled.

One of the suspect vehicles is described as a dark-colored Chevrolet Avalanche or Honda Ridgeline. The second vehicle looks to be a light-colored, late 90s model sedan.

Offense under investigation: Robbery

BPD is looking for this suspect after a bank robbery.  A preliminary report describes the suspect as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5'8”.  Photos from one surveillance camera show the suspect walking into the bank with a face covering before demanding money from employees. Witnesses believed the suspect was armed. Photos from a second camera show the suspect without a hat on running away from the scene.
