BPD seeking information about a hit and run

The Boise Police department is asking for the public’s help as they investigate a hit and run early Saturday morning.  The hit and run happened on Sept. 2nd around  12:15 am.  The suspect’s vehicle was driving northbound on Harrison Blvd between W. Dewey St. and W. Dora St. when it struck a male teenager in the roadway.  The vehicle then left the scene.  The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.  Officers with the Boise Police Department responded right after the crash and were unable to find the vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police.   

Vehicle description: Witnesses describe the vehicle as a light colored Subaru Forester-type SUV. The vehicle likely has damage to the front.
