Officers ask for assistance ID’ing two different suspects in separate crimes; Recognize them? Call Crime Stoppers

Burglaries: 

Boise Police Property Crimes Detectives are investigating three separate commercial burglaries believed to be linked to the same suspect.  Two of the burglaries happened at the same business near the intersection of Cole Road and Fairview Avenue, once on July 25 and again on August 16, both in the early morning hours.  In both burglaries the suspect broke in through the front door by smashing out glass.  Each time merchandise was stolen from the store.  The third burglary happened at a business near the intersection of Cole and Ustick in the early morning hours of August 16.  The male suspect entered the business by breaking the glass door and made off with merchandise.  Officers believe the three burglaries are connected.

Suspect Description:  The suspect is described as a white male.  In each of the burglaries he was wearing a sweatshirt.

Battery: 

Boise Police officers are asking anyone with any information that will help identify a man suspected of battery to call Crime Stoppers.  On Tuesday afternoon, August 15, BPD officers responded to a business near the intersection of Overland Road and Vinnell Way.  According to witness reports, an adult male touched a woman and grabbed her against her will, then kissed her twice on the face.  The woman did not know the man and the actions were without consent.

Suspect Description:  The man is described as a white male adult, possibly with a tan complexion, approximately 5’9” tall.  He appears to have gray hair, and was wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts at the time.

IDAHO STATE CODE 18-903.  BATTERY DEFINED. A battery is any:

(a)  Willful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another; or

(b)  Actual, intentional and unlawful touching or striking of another person against the will of the other; or

(c)  Unlawfully and intentionally causing bodily harm to an individual.
