BPD Investigating Armed Robbery on Airport Way

Boise Police were dispatched to an armed robbery at a motel the 2000 block of Airport way at 3:20 p.m.  The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect matches the description of the suspect in previous armed robberies in Nampa and Boise. Information on the Boise robberies is in the news releases below.

Suspect description: The suspect is described as a thin black male in his 20’s, wearing black and gray with black and white shoes.  In today’s armed robbery he was described as having a deep voice.

Boise Police ask anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area of Airport Way this afternoon to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.  A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.

Just after 4:00 p.m. Boise Police were dispatched to an armed robbery at a business on W. Fairview near N. Five Mile Rd. A black male suspect, matching the description of the suspect in previous armed robberies, was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  In this incident, the suspect partially covered his face with clothing.  

Suspect description: The suspect is described as a black male, in his late teens or early 20’s.  He was wearing all black clothing including a black hooded sweatshirt.

Boise Police believe the same suspect is responsible for four armed robberies at businesses in Boise and one armed robbery at a business in Nampa.  Boise Police are working with Nampa Police on the investigation.  In each of the incidents, the suspect behaved in a similar manner and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. 

“We are investigating a fifth armed robbery with the same suspect description, we are asking anyone who recognizes the man in these surveillance pictures to please call police before this person is able to commit another dangerous crime,” said Boise Police Sgt. Justin Kendall.

More suspect photos released from Monday armed robbery

Boise Police Detectives have released more surveillance photos of the man suspected of robbing a business near Camas Street and Cole Road on Monday morning. The suspect is a black adult male, 5’8 to 6’0 tall, thin, in his early 20’s. Officers are still working to determine if this robbery is connected to two others this week.  Anyone with any information about the suspect is asked to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

Police investigate armed robbery at Boise business

Boise Police are investigating an armed robbery at a business on the 2100 block of Broadway.  It happened just before 7:00 p.m. and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect is described as a tall dark-skinned male with a thin build.  He was wearing a dark gray or black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. 

The investigation is ongoing as to if this robbery is connected to the robberies yesterday.  Officers continue to investigate these robberies and ask anyone who may have any information about the suspect to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.

Boise Police Officers are investigating two armed robberies which occurred on the Boise Bench on Monday morning. 

At 8:15 a.m.  Officers responded to a store on the 800 block of South Cole Road for a report of an armed robbery.  Reports indicate a man went into the store and demanded money from an employee.  The man fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He is described as being a younger dark-skinned male, wearing a long-sleeved black hooded sweatshirt. (Photo Included)

At 8:25 a.m.  Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at a business near the intersection of Cole Road and Emerald Street.  Reports indicate a male entered the business and demanded money from an employee.  He then fled the scene and was last seen driving westbound on Emerald in a gold-colored four door sedan.  The suspect is described as being a younger dark-skinned male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. 

The investigation is ongoing as to if these robberies are connected.  Officers continue to investigate these robberies and ask anyone who may have any information about the suspect to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.
