Armed Robbery Suspect From 2016 Arrested in Utah

After a long and in depth investigation, Boise Police have arrested a man for the 2016 armed robbery of a business on East Warm Springs Avenue and South Eckert Road.

Arrested: Jordan Lewis, 25, Orem, UT

Charges: Robbery (F)

Boise Police received a number of tips from the public regarding the robbery on Feb. 27, 2016.  Detectives followed up on multiple leads before gathering evidence that identified Jordan Lewis as a suspect.  Investigators recently learned Lewis was living in Utah and got a warrant for his arrest.  Lewis was arrested March 9, 2017 by the Utah County Sheriff's Office and booked into the local jail.

Boise Police will seek to extradite Lewis back to Idaho and the timing of the extradition will be handled by the appropriate courts.

Boise Police officers are asking for any information about a man who is suspected of armed robbery in the area of  East Warm Springs Avenue and South Eckert Road on Saturday, February 27 prior to 6:00 a.m.  Anyone with any information about the man is urged to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

 Ranch Market Suspect

What Happened:  Boise Police were dispatched to an armed robbery just prior to 6:00 a.m. occuring at the Ranch Market, located near East Warm Springs Avenue and South Eckert Road.  A light-skinned male entered the store and displayed a weapon.  The suspect demanded cash and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. 

Suspect Description: The man is described as a light-skinned male in his mid 20’s, a thin build, 5’8” to 5’10".   Last seen fleeing from the store, wearing a black hoodie style jacket and black pants.
