UPDATE: Victim dies following weekend stabbing

The victim in a weekend stabbing which occurred on the 100 block of S. 6th Street has died from injuries sustained in the incident.  Officers continue to investigate the stabbing and have one person of interest who has been arrested on unrelated charges.  The investigation remains ongoing and more information will be released when possible.  The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the identification of the deceased victim pending notification of family.

Officers investigating a stabbing, one person in custody

Boise Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred around 1:40 a.m. on the 100 block of S. 6th Street. Two victims were taken to a local hospital, one victim had injuries that appeared on scene to be life-threatening. One suspect is in custody and being interviewed by police. The scene is secure and the investigation is ongoing. 

Anyone who witnessed the stabbing is urged to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.
