Boise Police arrested a man early this morning and charged him with two felonies for robbing the same convenience store six months apart.
Arrested: Anthony N. Nethington, 25, Boise
Charged: Robbery (F) 2 counts
Nethington was arrested by officers at his home early this morning, thanks in part to a citizen tip that helped identify him as a suspect. The tip came after the convenience store on the 9000 block of West Ustick Road was robbed yesterday morning, May 31 at approximately 2:20 a.m. While investigating, officers found evidence to charge the suspect with the robbery at the same convenience store that occurred November 27, 2013.
"Tips from citizens do indeed help solve cases," said Sgt. Mark Barnett of the Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit. "We appreciate the citizens who felt they had valuable information in this case and called it in. It helped solve, not one, but two robberies."
Nethington should be scheduled for arraignment on the charges in 4th District Court Monday.
