Accused Shoplifter Faces Battery Charges; Drug charges follow BPD assist for Probation & Parole; BPD Daily Watch Log

Arrested: Andrew M. Cenarrusa, 37, Boise

Charged: Warrant – Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (F), Warrant – Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana (m), Warrant – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

Charges for Cenarrusa were routed through the Ada County Prosecutors office, and three warrants issued related to the investigation into malicious injury to property that quickly shifted to multiple drug related charges last week  regarding a search warrant served at a residence near West Bloom Street and North Collister Drive on March 19.  On Monday, March 24, at about 6 p.m. Boise Police officers contacted Cenarrusa at his place of work and arrested him for the warrants.  Cenarrusa was then booked into the Ada County Jail.  Additional charges are expected in this case as the investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Pierre D. Thomas, 21, Boise

Charged: Burglary (F), Battery (m)

Boise Police officers were dispatched to a store in the area of West University Drive and South Lincoln Avenue on Monday, March 24, at 11:20 a.m. for a report of a theft.  Upon arrival officers spoke with witnesses who observed Thomas concealing merchandise in his backpack.  When the witness confronted Thomas, he pushed past the witness twice in an effort to get away.  Evidence obtained during the investigation revealed that Thomas had entered the store with the intent of stealing the merchandise.  Thomas was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.

Arrested: Daliaana D. Clark, 22, Boise

Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

Boise Police officers were called to assist Probation and Parole officers who had captured Clark, a felony probation absconder, near North Hampton Road and West Jewell Street on Monday, March 24, at 6:22 p.m.  Once in custody, Clark was found to be in possession of a small clear plastic baggie containing methamphetamine, a small clear plastic baggie containing marijuana, and a small marijuana pipe with residue in it.  All substances and residue field tested positive.  Clark was booked into the Ada County Jail for the above charges.

Arrested: Dakota A. Rose, 23, Boise

Charged: Warrant – Probation Violation (F)

A Boise Police officer was dispatched to check for a wanted subject near North Hampton Road and West Jewell Street on Monday, March 24, at 10:21 a.m.  Upon arrival they made contact with Rose, who had a felony warrant for his arrest.  Rose was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail for the above warrant.

Arrested: Mark Anthony Black, 22, Boise

Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (F)

A Boise Police K9 was called to assist Probation and Parole officers with a search of the home of a subject under their authority, Black, near North Eugene Street and West Castle Drive on Monday, March 24, at 9:34 p.m.  During the search of the home, Black was found to be in possession of two small plastic baggies containing methamphetamine.  The methamphetamine field tested positive.  Black was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail for the above charge.

Arrested: Shane R. Lasater, 20, Boise

Charged: Warrant – Failure to Appear (F)

A Boise Police officer on routine patrol near West Overland Road and South Curtis Road recognized Lasater, who he knew to have a felony warrant for his arrest, this morning at 7:52 a.m.  Lasater attempted to flee, but was caught after a short time.  Lasater was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail for the above warrant.
