Officers try to identify persons of interest in bag theft; Victim is wheelchair bound

Boise, Nov. 8, 2013 - Boise Police are trying to identify two people who are persons of interest in the theft of a bag from a Valley Ride bus this week.

The victim is wheelchair bound. The bag was found in a trash can on Gary Lane in Northwest Boise, however, cash and other identification was not found. Offices hope two men seen on the bus shortly after the bag was left may have information.

What Happened: Officers say a bus rider left a black canvas-type bag on the bus when she got off at West State and 9th Streets Monday afternoon, November 4th. The rider uses a wheelchair and the bag was left in the front of the bus where there is wheelchair accessible seating.

Persons of Interest: The bus continued westbound on State Street, picking up two male riders in Northwest Boise. After a short ride, the two men got off the bus in the area of Gary Lane and Bunch Ct. 

Officers believe the men may have knowledge of what happened to the bag. Photos of the men are below.
