Warrant Arrested: Steven C. Pierce, 43, Boise

   Warrant Charges:  Aggravated Battery (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on July 7th of this year at a North Boise home. Evidence indicates the suspect, who was not well known to the victim, became involved in a personal dispute at a party. At one point, witnesses tell police the suspect struck the victim in the head repeatedly. Witnesses had to pull the suspect off of the victim. The victim received injuries to his face and jaw. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in the incident. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

The victim, a juvenile female at the time, says the conduct took place on more than one occasion in the Boise area.
