Arrested: Heath L. Lake, 36, Caldwell
Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Possession of Marijuana (m), Failure to Appear Warrant (m)
Boise Police responded to a report of a subject passed out and refusing to leave a motel room located near Overland and Maple Grove Tuesday, October 1st, at approximately 8:00 a.m. Employees at the motel tell police the suspect was not a guest and did not have permission to be there. Staff members tell police the suspect was passed out on a bed and refusing to respond to attempts to get him to leave. Officers contacted the suspect in the room and a check through Boise City Records indicated he had a current warrant for his arrest on failure to appear charges. A search of the suspect's person, and the immediate area, revealed a small amount of meth, a small amount of marijuana, scales and other packaging materials. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had been involved in the sale of illegal drugs. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
Warrant Arrested: Steven L. Thornhill, 31, Nampa
Warrant Charges: Receiving Stolen Property (F), Probation Violation (m), 2 counts of Failure to Appear (m)
The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Receiving Stolen Property yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into property recovered from a storage unit in August of this year. Evidence indicates items inside the storage unit had been stolen during prior burglaries. Officers have evidence that indicates the storage units belonged to the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
Warrant Arrested: Ty A. Jacobsen, 29, Nampa
Warrant Charges: Intimidation of a States Witness (F), Violation of a No Contact Order (m)
The suspect was transferred to the Ada County jail from Canyon County yesterday, where he was already in custody, to face charges on outstanding warrants for Intimidation of a States Witness and Violation of a No Contact Order.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into repeated attempts to intimidate a witness in an ongoing criminal case in Ada County. Evidence indicates the suspect contacted the witness on more than one occasion over the last month. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
