Child fingerprinting, disposal of old drugs and shredding of documents all in one place this weekend!

You can do it all in one place at the Boise Towne Square Mall this weekend. Public safety is everyone's concern and this will be a golden opportunity to take three steps in the right direction. The Boise Police Department, representatives from the Boise Towne Square Mall, the Ada County Sheriff's Office, Crime Stoppers of Southwest Idaho, and volunteers have partnered to make this event possible.

MALL_FingerprintSML.jpgFree fingerprinting for children: Volunteers will be on hand to fingerprint kids, creating a document for use in emergency situations. The volunteers will have the materials on hand to assist you in this process. If you are unable to attend this weekend you can request similar materials for free at http://www.pollyklaas.org/safe/child-id/

Where: Boise Towne Square Mall located at 350 North Milwaukee Street in the center court of the mall.

When: Saturday October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

MALL_ShredItSmall_R.jpg Shred important documents: Identity theft is a growing problem across the country and disposing of personal information can help prevent crime. Bring important documents with you to be shredded and disposed of for free this weekend. You can bring items like tax papers, checks, check stubs, bank statements, financial records, or anything with personal information on it. Please limit your items to 5 boxes or bags per vehicle.  Donations accepted at this event support Crime Stoppers of Southwest Idaho.

Where: Boise Towne Square Mall located at 350 North Milwaukee Street in the North Dillard's parking lot.
