Vigilant neighbor's call ends in burglary arrest; Daily incident report

Arrested: Andrea J. Seiler, 38, Boise

Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Norco)(m)

Boise Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on the Boise bench last night, September 24th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The calling party tells police they witnessed the suspect pull up to the home in a van and walk around behind the residence. When officers arrived they located the suspect in the van. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicated the suspect had entered the home through an unlocked side door. Officers contacted the homeowner who indicated the suspect did not have permission to be at the home. Officers located a prescription bottle of Norco pain medication in the suspect's vehicle and determined it had been taken from inside the residence. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
