ICAC investigation leads to internet porn warrant arrest; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Richard S. Macho, 29, Boise

Warrant Charges:  5 counts of Possession of Sexually Exploitive Material (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of Sexually Exploitive Material yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing ICAC investigation involving materials downloaded from the internet to a computer belonging to the suspect. The ICAC cybertip lead to a search warrant being served at the suspect's home on the 1300 block of Rimwood Drive in Boise on June 25th of this year. Investigators located illegal sexually exploitive materials at the home resulting in the five felony counts. Evidence indicates the suspect had downloaded the sexually exploitive materials from the internet and detectives do not have evidence that would indicate any of the victims are local. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
