DUI driver lashes out at officer earning felony charge; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Jennifer L. Hardin, 51, Boise

    Charges: Battery on an Officer (F), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m)

   Boise Police received a report of a possible drunk driver near North 11th Street and West Jefferson last night, August 27th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. The calling party tells police they observed the suspect driving in the middle of the road, across two lanes on State Street. According to the witnesses the suspect also bumped their vehicle after they entered a parking lot, then left. Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near 11th and Jefferson. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, was uncooperative with officers. At one point, the suspect kicked an officer in the leg and spit on him. THe suspect eventually blew a .16/.15 at the Ada County Jail resulting in the misdemeanor DUI charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Warrant Arrested: Gabrial J. Hamilton, 34, Marsing

    Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor under 16 (F)

   The suspect was transferred to the Ada County Jail from Owyhee County to face charges on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd Conduct with a Minor yesterday.

   The warrant charges follow a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct that reportedly took place in 2003 and 2004 at a Boise home. The illegal activity was reported to Boise Police in June of last year. The victim, a juvenile male under ten years old at the time, tells detectives the activity took place on more than on occasion. The suspect was well known to the victim. No further information is available at this time. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

  Arrested: Nathan S. Ragan, 27, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F)

   Boise Police patrol officers, working with information provided by citizen tips, contacted the suspect at a bar on the 1800 block of West Main Street last night, August 27th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. During the course of the investigation officers recovered approximately 30 grams total package weight of marijuana from the suspect's person. Officers have evidence that indicates the suspect had intended to sell the controlled substance resulting in the felony charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Gary A. Zosel, 32, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

     The suspect was transferred from another jurisdiction to face charges on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into approximately one gram of meth discovered in the suspect's possession in February of this year. The meth was discovered during a consent search of the suspect as officers conducted an ongoing investigation. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
