Injury to a Child warrant arrest and overnight Felony DUI; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Francis M. Jimenez, 42, Boise

Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child early this morning.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an altercation that took place in a Boise home in June of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect, who is well known to the victim, bit the victim on the shoulder during an altercation at the home. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Arrested: Adam C. Christensen, 35, Idaho Falls

Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Probation Violation (F), Driving Without Privileges (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

Boise Police observed a vehicle with no license plates on Ustick near Cloverdale early this morning, July 23rd, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle that failed to yield to emergency lights and eventually stopped near Columbine. The driver initially ignored officer's commands once the vehicle stopped. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect was currently suspended from driving and had multiple prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Joey J. Hochstrasser, 31, Boise

Warrant Charges:  2 counts of Burglary (F), Providing False Information (m), Failure to Appear (m)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for 2 counts of Burglary early this morning. The arrest warrants stem from two ongoing investigations into stolen property.

Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of jewelry, firearms and two vehicles from a home in West Boise in November of last year. The home owners were out of town at the time of the crime. The vehicles were later recovered by detectives.

In December of 2012 officers have evidence that indicates the suspect took a motorcycle belonging to an aquaintance after being told he did not have permission. The motorcycle was taken from the victim's residence near Overland and Roosevelt.

The details of these two investigations were forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrants. Further inquiries into these cases should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
