Fight outside bar leaves victim with injuries and suspect in jail on felony charges; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Lonnie E. Parlor JR. 42, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight outside a bar on the 600 block of West Main Street early this morning, July 4th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Witnesses tell police that several people on the sidewalk became involved in a verbal argument. At one point, witnesses tell police the suspect punched one man, resulting in the battery charge. According to bystanders the suspect then struck another victim in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. While the victim was on the ground, multiple witnesses say the suspect continued to punch and then kick him, causing injuries to his face and teeth. That attack resulted in the aggravated battery charge. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Kristy A. Yeargin, 44, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police received a citizen report of a possible drunk driver failing to maintain her lane Wednesday evening, July 3rd, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers located the vehicle on the 4700 block of West McMillan Road and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect failed several field sobriety tests and appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance other than alcohol. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had multiple prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Breton J. Burden, 50, Arroyo Hondo .NM

    Charges: Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)

   Boise Police assisted US Postal Inspectors on the arrest of a suspect in Boise on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of Custer County Wednesday evening, July 3rd, at approximately 11:00 p.m. During the course of that investigation, officers determined the suspect was in possession of a glass bottle with a dark liquid inside it that contained marijuana. Officers have evidence that the suspect created the liquid resulting in the manufacture of a controlled substance charge. After a detailed investigation into the incident, the suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Justin R. Butler, 30, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into stolen checks used to obtain goods and services starting in March of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect used the stolen checks to make more than $2,000.000 dollars in purchases and transfers at various locations. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
