Battery on an Officer and Felony DUI arrests; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: Rudolpho V. Camarillo, 30, No Known Address

   Charges: Battery on an Officer (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Open Container Violation (m), Present in a Boise City Park after Closure (m)

    Boise Police contacted the suspect in Rhodes Park just before midnight Saturday night, July 20th, at approximately 11:50 p.m. Rhodes Park is a Boise City Park that is closed to the public after 11:00 p.m. As officers approached the suspect they noted he was drinking alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated. As officers began to issue citations for the violations the suspect became aggressive. At one point, the suspect kicked an officer and had to be physically restrained. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Peter M. Hall, 59, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a collision in a parking lot on the 9000 block of South Federal Way Sunday night, July 21st, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Boise Firefighters, who had responded to the parking lot on a possible fire call, tell police the suspect rear-ended a Boise Fire engine in the parking lot. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .18/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. Boise City fire engine #12 received what appeared to be minor damage to the rear end. The engine was not taken out of service by the collision. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Daniel L. Morris, 63, Meridian

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a citizen report of possible drug activity at a hotel on the 2700 block of West Airport Way Friday afternoon, July 19th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Officers received consent to search the room from Daniel Morris. Officers recovered a small amount of meth, 2.8 ounces total package weight of marijuana, scales, and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Five Mile and Fairview Avenue with a broken tail light Saturday night, July 21st, at approximately 11:50 p.m. As officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle, a Boise Police K-9 named "Jackson" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 5 separate packages of meth, used syringes, 23 prescription Venlfaxine pills, 10 Amitryptaline pills, and other items of drug paraphernalia. Officers determined the drugs belonged to Kayla Martinez, who was a passenger in the vehicle at the time. After a detailed investigation the suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Bryan Hernandez-Virgen, 19, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance early this morning.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of approximately 16 grams total package weight of marijuana discovered during a traffic stop in March of this year. During that investigation, officers obtained evidence that the suspect had intended to sell the drug to another party. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

    Arrested: Alexander M. Oneill, 21, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Opiates)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Driving Without Privileges (m)

   Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle with a broken tail light late last night, July 21st, at approximately 11:00 p.m. As officers contacted the driver, they determined he was currently suspended from driving. During a search of the vehicle officers recovered one gram of marijuana, a hypodermic needle, and a small amount of residue that tested positive for Opiates.  The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Carrie C. Voss, 43, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police contacted the suspect sitting in a vehicle on the 2500 block of South Barrington Lane early Saturday morning, July 20th, at approximately 4:00 a.m. Officers received consent to search the suspect's vehicle and recovered less than one gram of meth and a hypodermic syringe. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Myra R. Dietz, 28, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F), Failure to Appear charges (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft Saturday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of electronics, tattoo equipment, and other personal items in October of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect, who is well known to the victim, was entrusted with several personal belongings while the victim was away. When the victim attempted to recover his property, he discovered his property had been sold by the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Arrested: Cody M. Paschal, 22, Salmon ID

   Charges: Burglary (F), False Personation (m)

   Warrant Charges: Failure to Appear (m), Driving Under the Influence (M)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road Saturday evening, July 20th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select several items including several cases of beer and then leave the store without paying for the merchandise. Loss prevention employees detained the suspect and recovered the items. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. A check through Boise City records indicated the suspect had outstanding warrants for his arrest on Failure to Appear and DUI charges. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the program is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.
