Drug possession suspect flees on foot and lands in jail on multiple charges; Daily incident report

    Arrested: William E. Tipton, 51, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   A Boise Police officer on bicycle patrol observed two suspects manipulating a syringe in Veterans Memorial Park last night, June 26th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. As the officer approached the suspects one man, later identified as William Tipton, immediately ran from the officer. During a short foot pursuit the officer repeatedly identified himself and ordered the suspect to stop. At one point, the suspect jumped onto a motorcycle in a parking lot near State Street and North Clover Drive. The suspect was unable to start the bike. The suspect was physically taken in to custody. A search of the suspect's person revealed a marijuana pipe and a plastic baggie containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Everett B. Cole, 53, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of meth during a search warrant at a residence on the 5000 block of West Morris Hill on May 7th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect, who does not reside at the home, was in possession of approximately .7 grams total package weight of meth. The suspect was at the home during a warrant search by Boise Neighborhood Contact Officers. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Warrant Arrested: Clifford J. Bale, 31, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary early this morning.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on January 25th of this year. On that date, evidence indicates the suspect was involved in entering vehicles in a parking lot on the 100 block of East Mallard Drive at approximately 3:00 a.m. At the time officers located the suspect he was in possession of items that officers later determined had been stolen from vehicles. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
