Aggravated Assault and Injury to a Child arrests; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: Zachariah D. Killebrew, 29, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F), Malicious Injury to Property (F), 2 counts of Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight at a residence on the Boise Bench early Saturday morning, June 22nd, at approximately 3:00 a.m. Two victims, who are well known to the suspect, tell police that Zachariah Killebrew returned to the residence intoxicated and began to fight with them over a financial matter. At one point, the two adult victims tell police the suspect struck them both in the face with his fist and chased one of them with a hammer. Witnesses tell police the two victims attempted to get away from the suspect by getting into a car. The suspect struck the car repeatedly with the hammer, resulting in the injury to property charge. The suspect was located at the residence and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Bobby C. Doyle III, 40, San Dimas CA.

   Charges: Injury to a Child (F), Fugitive to Idaho (F)

    Boise Police received a report of an incident that had taken place earlier the same day June 21st, at approximately 2:00 p.m. at a residence on the 12000 block of Dallan Drive in Boise. The victim, a teenage male, was calling from a local hospital. The victim tells police he became involved in an argument with the suspect at the home. The victim and the suspect are well known to each other. At one point, the victim tells police the suspect choked the victim. The victim fled the scene. The suspect was located at a different Boise residence a short time later and taken into custody without incident. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Florida, resulting in the fugitive to Idaho charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Darryl J. Shepps, 47, Meridian

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   A Boise Police Officer on patrol observed a motorcycle and its rider laying on the ground as he approached the intersection at North Maple Grove Road and West Emerald Street Sunday, June 23rd, at approximately 1:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .23/.22 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Joseph A. Holloway, 27, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Failure to Appear Warrant charges (m)

   Boise Police contacted the suspect Sunday evening, June 23rd, at approximately 9:00 p.m. in a parking lot on the 5800 block of West Franklin road. As officers identified the suspect a check through Boise City records indicated the suspect had a current warrant for his arrest on failure to appear charges. A search of the suspect's person after his arrest revealed a baggy of marijuana and a pipe. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had been involved in selling the marijuana to others. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Dennis F. Schmidt, 37, Meridian

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a possible drunk driver in a parking lot on the 100 block of East Myrtle Street Sunday afternoon, June 23rd, at approximately 5:30 p.m. As officers located the vehicle they approached the driver in the driver's seat and observed him holding a plastic baggie containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Marcus O. Ramirez, 18, Nampa

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a burglary that had just taken place at a residence on the 1300 block of North 10th Street Saturday, June 22nd, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Victims tell police they entered the home and caught the suspect in the act of stealing items from the residence. The suspect, who is not known to the victims, fled the scene and officers located him a short distance away from the home. The suspect had several items in his possession that had been stolen from the home. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Monire L. Wheelock, 49, Nampa

   Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary Friday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the return of stolen items at a local merchant in November of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in returning the stolen items at the retail store to fraudulently obtain goods or services. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Arrested: Salinas, A. Rodriguez, 20, Mountain Home

  Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Street Friday, June 21st, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Store employees tell police they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Employees detained the suspect and recovered several items that had been taken from the store. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the program is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.
