Use of a knife leads to Aggravated Battery arrest; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Vicky A. Gonzalez, 25, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight with a weapon in front of an apartment complex on the 100 block of East Front Street yesterday, May 14th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. As officers arrived they spotted the suspect fleeing the area on foot and detained her. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect was talking with acquaintances outside the building when she began to argue with them, screaming and yelling at the victims. At one point, witnesses say the suspect produced a knife and placed it near the throat of an adult male victim. According to witnesses the suspect also struck another adult male resulting in the battery charge. Officers believe alcohol may have been a factor in this case. No one was injured and the knife was recovered. After a detailed investigation into the incident the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-907. Aggravated battery defined. (1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery:(a)Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement; or (b)Uses a deadly weapon or instrument

   Arrested: Aurelia C. Pescaru, 70, Boise

   Charges: Intimidation of a States Witness (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody yesterday, May 14th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. following a detailed investigation into an incident that took place at the victim's place of work in Boise. Evidence indicates the suspect left a threatening note for the victim, who is a witness to an ongoing criminal case involving the suspect. After contacting the suspect and conducting a detailed investigation into the incident the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 26 EVIDENCE FALSIFIED OR CONCEALED AND WITNESSES INTIMIDATED OR BRIBED (3)Any person who, by direct or indirect force, or by any threats to person or property, or by any manner wilfully intimidates, influences, impedes, deters, threatens, harasses, obstructs or prevents, a witness, including a child witness, or any person who may be called as a witness or any person he believes may be called as a witness in any criminal proceeding or juvenile evidentiary hearing from testifying freely, fully and truthfully in that criminal proceeding or juvenile evidentiary hearing is guilty of a felony.

   Arrested: Rocky W. Nelson, 33, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police and Idaho Probation and Parole agents conducted a search of the suspect's residence on the 500 block of West Williams Street yesterday, May 14th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers located a small amount of meth in the suspect's room, a violation of his parole. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
