Boise Police responded to a fight at a residence on the 500 block of North Meadowland Lane late Saturday night, May 4th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Witnesses tell police two adult men became involved in a fight over an ongoing financial situation. At one point evidence indicates the suspect, who is well known to the victim, attempted to strike the victim with a hammer. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Zachary N. Davis, 24, Boise
Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (F), Burglary (F), Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(m), Possession of Stolen Property (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m)
Boise Police responded to a report of vehicle break in on the 1200 block of West Norristown Street Sunday morning, May 5th, at approximately 7:00 a.m. Officers who responded located the suspect inside a vehicle that did not belong to him, tearing up the trucks seats and plastic trim causing damage in excess of $1,000.00. The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic substance, repeatedly refused to exit the vehicle. The suspect was eventually taken into custody when he exited the vehicle that did not belong to him. Officers determined the suspect had arrived at the location driving a different vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Garden City. Evidence indicates the suspect picked the vehicle he was located in at random, and did not know the owner. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)
The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into jewelry stolen from a residence in September of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect, who is well known to the victim, was involved in the theft of the items from the victim's Boise home. The suspect later sold the items to obtain money. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
Warrant Arrested: David A. Verdin, 29, Boise
Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)
The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary Sunday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of goods from a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road in November of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect entered the store and selected items, then returned those items for cash without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
