Fight leads to Felony arrest; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Lawrence G. Gray, 67, Garden City

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight outside a community center on the 2400 block of West Bank Drive yesterday, May 1st, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect and the victim, an adult male, became engaged in an argument. At one point, the victim tells police the suspect struck him in the face repeatedly. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and the victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim suffered a broken nose and other facial injuries. Officers located the suspect a short time later and conducted a detailed investigation before the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-907. Aggravated battery defined. (1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery: (a)Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement;

   Warrant Arrested: Anthony A. Bernal, 23, Nampa

   Warrant Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a fight that took place outside a bar on March 18th of this year at approximately 2:00 a.m. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the attack that left the victim, an adult male, with facial injuries and a possible concussion. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

   Warrant Arrested: Kimberly Peterson, 40, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of items from a residence on the 1800 block of West Donald Circle in September of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of personal items and furniture from the home. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
