Arrested: Jason M. Cochrane, 36, Boise
Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)
Boise Police responded to a report of a fight at a residence on the 3600 block of North Collister yesterday, May 9th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect became involved in an argument over an ongoing personal dispute with the victim. The suspect and the victim both reside in the home. At one point, witnesses say the suspect struck the victim in the arm and the head with a two foot long piece of wood. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries at the time. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Willow A. White, 33, Boise
Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)
The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an investigation into dangerous conditions found in a Boise residence near Overland and Curtis on February 14th of this year. On that date, Boise Police responded to a request from agents of the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare to assist them as they conduct a welfare check at a the home. Three children under the age of ten live at the residence. When officers entered the home they discovered animal feces in multiple rooms, dirty dishes with rotting food in multiple rooms with rotting food spread around the home. The children were declared to be in imminent danger and they were turned over to the custody of representatives of the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare. The investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1501. Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or in the state prison for not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years.
Arrested: Stuart J. Milstead, 21, Boise
Charges: 2 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(m), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)
Boise Police on patrol late last night, May 10th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. observed a vehicle conduct an illegal turn near Amber and Bond Street. As officers contacted the driver, they noted prescription bottles in the vehicle and asked the driver about the pills. The suspect informed officers he had illegal controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana, a pipe, and several prescription medications the suspect did not have documentation for. The prescriptions included Amphetamine, Detroamphetamine Sulfate and Clonazepam. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
Warrant Arrested in Canyon County: Troy T. Hinkle, 41, Caldwell
Ada County Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F), Burglary (F)
The suspect was taken into custody in CANYON COUNTY on an outstanding Ada County Felony warrant for Burglary and Grand Theft.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into funds obtained through a fraudulent return to a retail store on May 2nd of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the purchase of a computer hard drive from a retail store. The suspect the returned the packaging and hard drive case after removing the contents for a refund of the original price at a retail store on the 600 block of North Milwaukee Street. Evidence indicates the suspect had engaged in this fraudulent activity on more than one occasion. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into these charges should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
