Injury to a Child and Felony Drug charges; Weekend incident report

   Warrant Arrested: Marshall O. Washington, 32, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an injury sustained by a child that was reported to police on January 17th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in causing the injury to the infant, who is less than one year old, at a Boise home. The suspect and the victim are known to each other. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

    Arrested: Samuel L. Lambert, 43, No Known Address

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of drug activity at a transit station on the 1200 block of West Bannock Street late Sunday night, April 14th, at approximately 11:45 p.m. Employees at the bus station tell police the suspect was confronted by employees after they observed odd behavior. The suspect immediately fled the area on foot, leaving behind a package containing approximately 234 grams total package weight of marijuana. Officers located the suspect on the 100 block of North 11th on foot and recovered approximately 57.7 grams total package weight of Meth. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had intended to sell the controlled substances. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Charges: Burglary

    Arrested: Matthew D. Brooks, 23, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police received a report of a vehicle burglary that had taken place in a parking lot on the 6900 block of West Overland Road on April 10th. The victim told police someone had entered the vehicle and taken several personal items from the car at approximately 4:30 in the afternoon.

   Officers, following up on information obtained from the vehicle burglary, located the suspect in a parking lot on the 1000 block of North Allumbaugh Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. The suspect, later identified as Kristina Anderson, was driving a borrowed vehicle at the time, with Matthew Brooks as a passenger. Officers obtained consent to search the vehicle from the owner.  A Boise Police K-9 named "Deisel" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of Meth and drug paraphernalia belonging to Matthew Brooks. After a detailed investigation the two suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: David U. Flores, 30, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Urinating in Public (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

   Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning, April 14th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. observed a man urinating on the wall in front of several people at 8th Street and Idaho. Officers activated emergency lights and the suspect immediately fled on foot. Officers caught the suspect moments later and he was taken into custody. A search of the suspect's person revealed a baggie containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Erin N. Bell, 31, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road Sunday, April 14th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the program is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.

   Charges: Burglary (F), Probation Violation Charges (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8200 block of West Fairview Avenue Saturday, April 13th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
